Accountabilities:
The Lead Designer, Corporate Communications will own the creative direction and execution of high-visibility communication materials while partnering closely with leadership teams and creative stakeholders. This role requires exceptional design craft, strategic problem-solving, and the ability to create scalable systems that improve quality and efficiency.
- Lead the end-to-end design process for corporate and internal communication materials, including executive presentations, newsletters, digital signage, reports, board materials, investor communications, and other high-impact assets.
- Establish and maintain a high creative standard across all corporate communications deliverables, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with brand strategy.
- Develop scalable design systems, templates, libraries, and creative toolkits that improve efficiency while maintaining quality.
- Translate complex business information, financial data, and strategic initiatives into engaging visual stories that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with video and motion design teams to ensure cohesive visual experiences across multimedia communications.
- Partner closely with corporate communications teams to understand priorities, timelines, and critical business moments.
- Work directly with senior executives and cross-functional leaders on strategic deliverables requiring strong judgment and attention to detail.
- Manage multiple design projects independently while balancing competing priorities and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Mentor designers through structured feedback, creative reviews, and knowledge sharing to elevate overall team performance.
- Champion innovation by adopting AI-enhanced creative practices, improving workflows, automating repetitive tasks, and using data-informed insights to optimize design impact.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced visual designer with a strong background in corporate communications, brand systems, and strategic storytelling. They should demonstrate the ability to operate independently, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver sophisticated design solutions in a fast-moving environment.
- 8 years of professional design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across presentations, editorial design, corporate communications, and digital assets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of professional experience and design expertise.
- Proven experience creating executive-level materials such as board presentations, investor communications, annual reports, or strategic business documents.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries and auto-layout, as well as Adobe Creative Suite tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Experience building and managing scalable design systems, templates, and creative frameworks.
- Strong visual storytelling skills, particularly when communicating complex information, financial data, and strategic narratives.
- Experience working in large-scale organizations where operational consistency and design systems are essential.
- Background in B2B SaaS, technology, corporate branding, or enterprise environments is preferred.
- Experience mentoring designers, leading creative reviews, and providing constructive feedback.
- Ability to communicate design rationale and creative strategy effectively with senior non-design stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fully remote environment.
- Familiarity with internal communications platforms and collaboration tools is a plus.
