Financial Profiles is seeking a hands-on Vice President to help lead day-to-day execution of strategic IR programs and projects for our clients. This is an excellent role for someone who can think strategically, write clearly, manage workstreams, lead junior talent, and roll up their sleeves to produce client-ready work. The right person will be energized by a culture that moves quickly, holds a high bar, takes ownership seriously, and follows a proven way of serving clients. For a motivated, no-nonsense professional who wants to learn from senior advisors, interface with clients, become exceptional at their craft, and deliver work that makes the firm proud, this is a great opportunity to grow and make a real impact.
The Person Who Will Thrive in This Role
- A strong writer and editor who makes financial and business information clear, accurate, compelling, and client-ready the first time.
- An organized, proactive project manager who stays calm under deadline pressure, anticipates what is needed, and does what they say they will do.
- A hands-on leader who does great work themselves, guides and trains junior team members, and sets the standard for smart, polished, proactive execution.
- A financially fluent, curious, analytical thinker who is engaged with news, markets, business, and the broader world, with strong interest in IR, capital markets, communications, public companies, and strategy.
- A polished, low-ego client-service professional who works well with senior FP team members, CEOs, CFOs, IROs, analysts, and investors.
- A hard-working professional who understands this is a client-service business: we are responsive, take ownership, and deliver when clients need us.
- An adaptable, coachable teammate who brings experience and initiative while embracing The FP Way—client service, communication, quality control, responsiveness, and execution.
- An ambitious professional who wants meaningful client exposure, senior mentorship, and the chance to advance by becoming very good at IR advisory work.
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, equity research, financial communications, or a related field.
- Experience drafting investor-facing materials, including earnings content, investor presentations, research, targeting, and market updates; must be financially fluent and comfortable using FactSet, AlphaSense, ownership data, market data, and other research platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Business, Economics, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
Why Financial Profiles
At FP, you will learn directly from senior advisors, work on meaningful client assignments, gain exposure to CEOs, CFOs, IROs, analysts, and investors, and build the judgment, writing, financial fluency, and client-service instincts that make someone valuable in this field. For someone motivated, resourceful, and serious about getting better, this is a place to take on responsibility, sharpen your craft, and grow into a stronger IR advisor.
