Reporting to the Vice President, Investor Relations, the Executive Assistant, Capital Markets will serve as a trusted operational partner to the Capital Markets leadership team in Sydney and New York, enabling them to focus on what matters most. Based in New York, this role combines high-level executive support with responsibility for the smooth running of IREN’s New York office – making it a dynamic, varied, and high-impact position.
- 5 years’ experience in an administrative support role to a corporate Senior Leader.

- Manage the Capital Markets Team in Sydney and New York’s complex calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, travel arrangements (domestic and international), and speaking engagements.
- Organize and prepare for meetings by gathering documents, creating agendas, taking minutes, and coordinating logistics.
- Track project progress, ensuring deadlines are met, stakeholders are informed, determining when escalation is required, ensuring deadlines are met, and exercising discretion in how issues are communicated and resolved to keep business operations on track.
- Act as a liaison between the Capital Markets team and external parties, screening calls and visitors, answering inquiries with professionalism, and directing communications as needed.
- Support the processes and activities of the global Capital Markets team, applying judgment and discretion to identify operational needs, adapt to shifting priorities, and contribute directly to the effective management of the team’s business operations.
- Provide additional support to other departments, administrators, or executives as needed.
- Take ownership of maintaining the Investor Relations CRM to ensure investor, analyst and stakeholder records, meeting notes and engagement activity are accurate and up to date.
- Support investor roadshows, conferences and site visits, including itinerary planning, meeting coordination, logistics, briefing materials and follow-up tracking.
- Maintain team records, distribution lists, organizational documents and shared files to ensure key information is accurate, accessible and well organized.
- Coordinate invoice management for the Capital Markets team, including vendor tracking, approval workflows, payment follow-up and record keeping.
- Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of the Capital Markets leadership team as required.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for New York office visitors, including greeting guests, managing access, coordinating meeting rooms and ensuring a professional office experience.
- Manage department credit cards, ensuring sufficient funds are available and receipts are logged accordingly for each member of the Capital Markets team.
- Hold primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of the New York office, including contract management for office-related vendors and service providers (independently negotiating, executing, renewing, and monitoring agreements), coordinating office supplies, facilities requests, vendor relationships, and mail ensuring a well-functioning, professional work environment that supports IREN’s business operations.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of internal events, team meetings, and conferences held at or involving the New York office.
