Built to set the gold standard for integrated AI infrastructure
Crux AI is a newly formed, U.S.-based integrated AI infrastructure company created to remove the physical and operational constraints on consequential AI ambitions. Crux brings together power, high-density data centers, TPU silicon, networking, orchestration software, and ongoing operations as one integrated system.
Crux is being capitalized to plan every layer together, develop each one to demanding standards, and operate the whole system with efficiency and reliability. That gives hyperscalers, frontier AI labs, sovereign customers, enterprises, and AI-native companies greater freedom to pursue the AI they are here to create.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will build the financing model to support massive AI infrastructure builds - developing innovative strategies to access cost-effective capital and continuously optimizing the balance sheet to maximize value.
In this role, you will:
Reporting to the CFO, raise multi-billion dollar financings across multiple instrument types, manage banking and debt investor relationships, drive the financial execution of public equity market transactions, and evaluate opportunistic M&A.
Contribute broadly and have significant responsibility for all capital raising processes. You’ll partner across Finance, Legal, our sponsors, and the executive team to drive our capital markets strategy.
SIGNALS OF SUCCESS
After 60 days in this role:
Gained a complete understanding of our current financing status and go-forward needs and begin developing short and medium-term strategies to address those needs.
Established key relationships with investment banks and our sponsors.
Established key relationships with rating agencies.
Adapted to a fast paced environment.
After 6 months:
Lead the structuring, negotiation, and closing of diverse debt facilities: which may include construction financing, asset-backed securitizations (ABS), equipment leasing facilities, GPU-collateralized loans, supply chain financing, and revolving credit facilities.
Developed an efficient process for end-to-end deal management, driving efficient access to favorable markets through excellence in deal execution.
Optimized debt covenants, collaborating with legal and accounting teams.
Managed post-close debt operations: covenant tracking, interest rate hedging strategies, and rating agency interactions.
Established an M&A evaluation strategy, to allow the company to efficiently evaluate inorganic growth opportunities, and support execution of those strategies where appropriate.
After 1 year:
Recruit, mentor, and lead a lean, high-performing team to drive the Corporate Finance function.
Drive execution of potential equity raises alongside the CFO.
Demonstrate consistent operational excellence and impeccable attention to detail.
Develop innovative approaches to solving for industry-wide concerns regarding meeting the needs for scaled M&A capital.

Direct track record of closing complex debt facilities (structured credit, asset-based lending, or high-yield) and equity offerings ($1B transaction sizes).
Attributes
You are willing to negotiate aggressively to get to the right outcome. Comfortable diving deep on term sheets and legal documents with the attorneys, while maintaining the ability to innovate in the face of broad capital raising needs.
