Position Overview
Under the general direction of the Investor Relations Manager, the Investor Relations Coordinator will be responsible for preparing and distributing necessary investor relations correspondence materials efficiently and accurately. As such, you will be expected to act as a Redwood brand ambassador, promote our brand and provide the best resident experience possible.
All Redwood employees are expected to conduct all organizational business and practices in accordance to Redwood company policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Construction closing administration
- Generate, circulate, and collect construction closing documents, including subscription and operating agreements, tax forms, letters of accreditation, and direct deposit forms
- Store and update information relating to investor onboarding
- Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of all closing documents prior to closing
- Coordinate collection of investor wires for construction closings
- Ensure timely delivery of funds to achieve target close dates
- Provide confirmation of funds to investors
- Input investors/ownership into property management software
- Provide project updates such as construction progress, occupancy trends, rents, etc.
- Provide portfolio updates for top 50 investors and as requested
- Build out department reporting function in collaboration with FP&A, Development, PowerBI, etc.
- Generate and distribute quarterly AppFolio reports
- Upload quarterly financials
- Assist in organizing investor events, meetings, roadshows, etc.
- Maintain and update investor contact databases
- Act as primary liaison with Investment Management Software Company (AppFolio)
- Conduct outreach initiatives to HNW individuals, family offices, and other prospective investors, to initiate intro calls with the IR team
- Generate refinance projection schedules
- Generate and distribute cash call documents
- Rename, sort, store, and upload tax documents
- Perform general auditing on a quarterly, bi-annual, and annual basis
- Collect signatures for operating agreement amendments and incentive ownership
- Collect and store 83(b) tax forms and ensure timely delivery to the IRS
- Input investor data and operating agreement data into investor relations software
- Generate Multiphase Letters for Investor Relations Manager
- Monitor entity drive to create efficiencies and improve accuracy of records
- Scan and save executed documents onto Investor Relations SharePoint and other databases
- Assist with preparing investor presentation materials
- Reconcile expense reports as needed
- Coordinate meetings per request of the Investor Relations team
- Generate capital call letters
- Generate investor loan letters
- Coordinate trips for the Investor Relations team
- All other related duties, as assigned

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred
- 3 years of administrative experience
- Investor Relations or finance experience preferred
- Excellent computer proficiency
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to use standard office equipment such as computers, desk phones, cell phones, photocopiers, etc.
- Must be able to navigate stairs occasionally, particularly in the event of elevator outages or during emergency situations.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, stand, bend, and walk with the ability to lift 30 pounds occasionally.
Attendance and Scheduling:
- Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential for success in this role, and employees must adhere to set start times and assigned schedules.
- Occasional travel may be required for team outings, training sessions, or company-sponsored events, estimated at less than 5% annually.
Work Environment:
- Job is performed in a professional office environment.
- Exposure to varying indoor temperatures depending on location in the building and season.
- Combination of natural daylight and standard office lighting throughout the workspace.
- Movement across multiple flooring types, including tile, carpet, and other transitions.
- An open workspace layout, defined by a shared space without traditional enclosed offices or high-walled cubicles, may introduce distractions or reduce privacy.
