Development Lead, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, Jersey City, NJ:
Design and development solutions for Capital Markets application using various advanced, J2EE, Python libraries and frameworks. Work with architecture teams to document and review architect, design for solutions spanning across regulatory, transformative projects. Develop unit test cases to ensure application is fully tested and document results. Plan, Coordinate and Manage application releases using ServiceNow approval process. Design and develop applications on various RDBMS databases Oracle, SQL Server and Postgres. Lead and Manage team of developers to deliver large scale applications. Review code from team to ensure they comply to coding standards. Review and approve timesheets for reporting team members. Work closely with business and functional analysts to understand the project requirements and design technical feasibility, solutions. Participate in agile sprint planning to plan and deliver code modules aligning to project timelines and scope. Create project status updates for working group and steerco meetings. Model wireframes and develop UI using ReactJS, AngularJS UI, JQuery frameworks. Work with infrastructure teams to plan infrastructure needs for project delivery. Create infrastructure requests that aligns to project requirements. Work with run the bank team to plan application production rollouts, design application monitoring controls. Provide L3 support to troubleshoot and perform issues analysis. Review application with risk team to identify, document and remediate risk items. Work with internal audit teams to review. Ensure code modules are labelled, uploaded to configuration management tools GitHub, SVN. Configure applications on Docker containers for optional usage of compute fabric platforms. JUNIT design and development for unit testing the solutions developed.

Full-time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, $189,592.00 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
Must have 5 years of experience in:
* Design and development of low latency applications for financial services using JAVA J2EE, which must include web services, microservices, JPA, Spring framework with specialization in Spring Security & Cloud, JUnit, JMeter, Mockito, and test-driven development.
* UI frameworks and coding in ReactJS, Angular, Javascript, NodeJS to build enterprise user interface applications.
* DevOps including Jenkins, Bladelogic, Helios and Artifactory.
* Development with RDBMS technologies: Sybase ASE/IQ, SQL Server, Postgres.
* Query plans, performance tuning techniques, security and normalization.
* Unix, shell and Perl scripting.
* Docker containerization, orchestration and configurations.
* Kubernetes load balancing and monitoring.
* Application logging and monitoring techniques including ITRS, Grafana and Kibana.
* Job schedulers including Control-M, airflow and spring schedulers.
Must have 3 years of experience in Capital Markets Trade Life Cycle events including settlements, confirmations, allocations, fails, international settlements, corporate actions, trade matching, funding and metrics.
Must have 2 years of experience in:
* Python including Django framework, SQL Alchemy and Pandas.
* Alfresco content management and content indexing.
* Payment MT and MX messages expertise.
* Provide libraries and configurations.
* Coding for data retrievals from MongoDB unstructured datasets.
* Settlements and Clearing agencies knowledge including DTCC, CDS, BONY data flows, messages and concepts.
Must have Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Certification, including any single certification issued under the AWS Cloud certification program (e.g., Cloud Practitioner, Associate level, or Professional level certifications).
The base salary for this job is $189,592.00 per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
