Accountabilities:
- Lead annual Corporate Affairs strategic planning processes, including AOP and LRP, aligning enterprise objectives, functional strategies, and regional priorities.
- Manage and scale an enterprise-wide Corporate Affairs Impact Intelligence framework, ensuring consistent measurement and visibility across regions and functions.
- Coordinate strategic milestones, governance processes, and cross-functional planning activities to support timely decision-making and organizational alignment.
- Lead execution of the Corporate Affairs AI roadmap, translating strategic priorities into practical implementation plans, governance models, operating processes, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive the Corporate Affairs AI Task Force, prioritizing initiatives that progress the function toward standardized workflows, connected intelligence, and AI-enabled decision support.
- Establish and scale AI-enabled workflows, tools, prompts, and best practices while monitoring adoption, compliance, business impact, and continuous improvement.
- Build the foundations for predictive and influence-based Corporate Affairs capabilities by integrating data, workflows, measurement systems, and feedback loops.
- Translate qualitative and quantitative information into actionable insights, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Develop executive-ready reports, business reviews, briefings, and data-driven narratives that clearly demonstrate Corporate Affairs performance and business impact.
- Collaborate with regional and functional leaders to assess stakeholder perceptions, emerging issues, communication effectiveness, and relevant external intelligence.
- Define and evolve KPIs and success measures that connect Corporate Affairs activities to meaningful organizational outcomes.
- Operationalize strategic initiatives, process improvements, new capabilities, and change programs across regions and workstreams.
- Serve as a key connector across Corporate Affairs teams, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, consistency, and operational excellence.
- Manage operational workstreams for key external partners and patient-access initiatives as required.
- Support financial governance, annual planning, forecasting, resource allocation, and budget oversight across relevant Corporate Affairs activities.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in Corporate Affairs, Communications, Public Affairs, Patient Advocacy, or a related discipline within the biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sector.
- Experience working within global or multi-regional organizations and navigating complex, matrixed environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives involving AI, analytics, emerging technologies, organizational effectiveness, or decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to evaluate emerging AI technologies and translate them into scalable tools, processes, governance frameworks, and ways of working.
- Proven success driving technology adoption through change management, stakeholder engagement, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience designing or leading enterprise measurement frameworks, operating models, strategic planning processes, or organizational transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of the external stakeholder, policy, regulatory, and reputational environment affecting global biopharmaceutical organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and build alignment across functions without relying on direct authority.
- Experience presenting to executive leadership teams and contributing to senior-level or Board-level reporting and strategic discussions.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives.
- Experience with digital analytics, data visualization, and reporting platforms such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
- Strong operational and financial management capabilities, including planning, forecasting, governance, resource allocation, and budget oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical, business, and executive audiences.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline, comfortable operating in ambiguity and leading through change.
- Collaborative, proactive, results-oriented, and continuously focused on improving processes and organizational effectiveness.
- Strong analytical thinking, initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Approximately 10% travel expected.
