Team Overview
The Pan-Alternatives team is responsible for developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with sophisticated investors and acts as the central point for the firm’s marketing and business development efforts.
Position Overview
Aksia is seeking an experienced professional to join our Pan-Alternatives team in a newly created function. This individual will partner closely with investment teams to shape our narrative and build impactful presentations that drive our strategic initiatives. In addition to narrative and content creation, this person will maintain communication with existing clients, support commingled offerings, and coordinate the launch of new products.
This position is based in Aksia’s New York office and will include regular interaction with global colleagues, clients, and prospects.
Responsibilities
- Narrative & Presentation Development: Collaborate directly with investment team department heads to craft highly impactful, narrative-driven presentations and marketing collateral. Ensure the firm's complex strategies are translated into compelling, cohesive stories (focus is on content and narrative architecture, rather than graphic design).
- Act as an internal resource for other departments at the firm, preparing internal and external materials that heavily support fundraising and business development efforts.
- Serve as a primary investor relations contact for existing investors and late-stage prospects.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the smooth launch of new products.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of investor reports, due diligence materials, and board materials, ensuring they are refreshed on a regular cadence.
- Establish and manage processes to streamline responsibilities and create efficient workflows.
Qualifications:
- 4-10 years of experience in alternative investments, business development, and private markets investor relations.
- Exceptional ability to weave compelling narratives into impactful investor presentations and marketing collateral.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to distill and convey complex alternative investment strategies to institutional investors.
- Strong understanding of private market fund structures, including commingled funds, offshore vehicles, and registered products.
- Familiarity with due diligence processes, including the preparation and completion of DDQs and data room management.
- Experience managing or supporting fund launches, restructurings, or product development initiatives.
- Fluid understanding of AI tools and experience using them to create efficiencies within an organization.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
The estimated base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $165,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Aksia provides a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor.
