Senior Specialist, ESG Data Solutions & Controls
Role Responsibilities:
We’re seeking a Senior Specialist within the Sustainability Hub to support sustainability data governance and automation delivery. This role focuses on hands-on execution to improve data quality, reduce manual processes, and enable regulatory reporting, while helping build the ESG data foundation that supports automation, AI, and scalable reporting across the Hub. This is a HYBRID role located in New York City.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Support sustainability data governance and automation workstreams, ensuring delivery against defined timelines across business and engineering teams.
Execute data governance activities, including documenting data requirements, tracking data quality issues, and supporting resolution.
Leveraging your understanding of sustainability data requirements/regulation, to work with data providers to collect, validate, and prepare sustainability related data for regulatory and management reporting, with increasing focus on more governed, reusable, and scalable data inputs.
Partner with Engineering to help transition manual reporting processes (e.g., Excel -based workflows) into automated data flows, using clearly documented business requirements and data definitions.
Identify and track data issues, helping improve data quality and consistency over time.
Create and use AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve reporting, documentation, and management decisioning, supporting the Hub’s broader shift toward automation and AI-enabled ways of working.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, we’re seeking the following:
3-5 years of experience in data management, data architecture, analytics, risk, or project delivery in regulated environments with strong preference for exposure to sustainability data / regulation.
Experience supporting data workflows with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with data quality, data documentation, controls, or reporting processes.
Experience with technical tools such as Excel, SQL, Jira, AI tools.
Strong organization and follow-through; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
