This role will be responsible for garnering support from ETF liquidity providers and Authorized Participants to provide market quality and liquidity in State Street Investment Management’s ETFs. This individual will be a point of contact for ETF traders regarding the pricing and trading of our product lineup and will participate in projects with various internal teams and stakeholders to improve the structure and tradability of State Street Investment Management’s ETFs to best compete in the marketplace. Additionally, this individual will take a supporting role with the data analysis and reporting needs of the Capital Markets team. Furthermore, this role will support our business development efforts with market makers, broker dealers, and exchanges in seeking broader support for our ETF franchise from a liquidity provision perspective, particularly with top tier firms providing Lead Market Making and Agency AP services to the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage relationships and communications with lead market makers, authorized participants, liquidity providers, and data partners to optimize SPDR ETF trading outcomes
Drive measurable improvements in ETF market quality and execution by partnering with market makers, APs, and internal teams to refine product structure and creation/redemption processes
Develop and enhance SPDR’s market quality monitoring technologies
Provide input for daily and weekly commentaries on market quality and liquidity trends
Analyze ETF trading and flow data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Provide data-driven insights to support to help support sales inquiries, regulatory affairs, & due diligence questionnaires
Assist in projects and working groups, both internal and external, related to the development of innovative ETFs, the evolution of the ETF structure, and enhancements to the ETF creation/redemption mechanism
Partner with business development teams to deepen relationships with market makers, broker-dealers, and exchanges
Ideal Experience:

Resourceful, proactive, and able to prioritize and navigate in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel (data analysis), and PowerPoint; experience with trading or market data analytics tools preferred
Prior ETF Capital Markets, trading, ETF servicing, or closely related experience strongly preferred
FINRA Series 7 and 63 required (or commitment to obtain upon hire)
Salary Range:
$75,000 - $123,750 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
